The N.P.U. "Nec Plus Ultra" was born from the desire to produce the greatest Champagne wine, where rigour and demand punctuate each of the stages of its development. The N.P.U. cuvée is exclusively produced during exceptional years (1990, 1995, 1996, 1999, 2002, 2003, 2004).
The 1996 N.P.U. "Nec Plus Ultra" is made from a rigorous selection of grapes which come from 4 of the 17 villages with the Grand Cru appellation (Oger, Le Mesnil sur Oger, Verzenay and Bouzy).

La Maison Bruno Paillard is thus the most recent of the Champagne Houses. It is also one of the few houses that are completely independent. The cellars are located in Reims, on the road that leads to Epernay. The House is specialized in the production of special cuvées and "high end" Champagnes only. Owner and manager of a high quality vineyard that covers 32 hectares in which 10 Grands Crus are located, the House has an average annual production close to 500,000 bottles.
