Kavalan is a whisky distillery founded in 2005 in Yilan County, Taiwan. It released its first bottling in 2008, and quickly gained international acclaim, with one expression delicated as the "new whisky of the year" in Jim Murray's Whisky Bible in 2012.

Kavalan Solist ex-Bourbon is a delightfully complex, multi-dimensional single malt whisky. Clean & fresh tropical fruitiness with pleasant vanilla, coconut and spices. Well-balanced natural sweetness, vanilla and oak spices, round and complex with silky smoothness. Matured in hand-selected fresh American ex-Bourbon casks, the whisky is available at cask strength and non chill filtered, retaining the fuller flavour of a natural single malt whisky. Alcohol content may vary depending of cask : 53.2% - 60.1%

Inspired by the elegance of the Singapore Airlines batik motif, Kavalan collaborated with Singapore Airlines to create this exclusive special label, presenting one of its finest whiskies.
