In 2011, Domaine Clarence Dillon purchased a superb property in Saint-Émilion, now renamed Château Quintus. In 2013, Château Quintus made the acquisition of another neighbouring property, as well as a third one in 2021. These three exceptional properties now form a a wine estate of 45 hectares producing one of Saint-Émilion’s finest wines.
Tasting Notes :
the 2017 Quintus is deep garnet-purple in color and charges out of the gate with exuberant scents of blueberry compote, plum preserves and fresh mulberries with touches of sandalwood, powdered cinnamon, potpourri and forest floor plus a waft of black tea. Medium to full-bodied, the palate is jam-packed with expressive black and blue fruit layers, framed by wonderfully velvety tannins, finishing long and layered.
