Carrier—galley cart originally used for meal services—features ample versatility to recreate the onboard experience for your guests in your own home. With the beautiful grains and warm tones of the local African Mahogany, the Carrier stands out with its sturdy aluminium frame.

Equipped with internal solid wood trays and a large storage space, the Carrier provides easy access to your beverages. Carrier would also be a great conversational piece in your office.

Carrier comes in two sizes: half and full. Limited to 20 pieces each.

Materials:

Expect some wear-and-tear, dents and scratches on the original galley cart frame. We ensure that the best pieces are selected before the fabrication process.

As wood is an organic material, wood grains and tones in every piece tend to differ and are not considered defects.

All items sold are non-exchangeable and non-refundable. Items are sold as-is and may contain slight imperfections due to heritage and the upcycling process.

Product Care

Due to the constant change in weather, temperature, moisture and humidity, small cracks may develop over time. This will not affect the durability or strength of the furniture. Here are some easy steps you can take to care for your solid wood furniture:

1. Clean your furniture regularly with a well-wrung and clean, soft cloth.
   
2. Avoid placing your furniture under direct sunlight as sunlight causes UV damage and fading of colour over time.
3. Avoid placing your furniture near heat sources and/or air-conditioning units to prevent cracks caused by extreme changes in temperature and humidity.
4. Should there be spills on your furniture, clean up immediately by blotting the spill instead of wiping. Use an absorbent cloth to further prevent the spreading of spills.
5. Use a place mat when applicable to prevent direct contact with heat or water from objects placed on top of solid wood surfaces.
6. Refrain from using any harsh chemicals (e.g. bleach, thinner) to clean the furniture

Warranty

One-year Limited Warranty

Roger&Sons warrants that all our furniture for The Upcycling Project is free from defective materials and workmanship. This warranty is valid for one (1) year and commences from the date of delivery. The original invoice is required as proof of purchase.

What is covered under this warranty?

If during the warranty period, your product is deemed defective due to a wood manufacturing defect, Roger&Sons will repair or replace part(s), at Roger&Sons’ sole discretion. This warranty does not cover the original hardware, structure, parts from the upcycled materials.

This warranty covers the replacement or repair of any wood product or part of any wood product that has a manufacturing or material defect, that is not the result of normal wear and tear, or a natural characteristic of the material used.

What is not covered under this warranty?

(i) Proper care and usage are essential to preserving your rights under this warranty. This warranty does not apply if your product is damaged by the use of detergents, abrasives or other harsh cleaning agents. This warranty does not cover damage resulting from incorrect usage, negligence, abuse, normal wear and tear, or accidents. This includes (but not limited to) burns, cuts, scratches, tears, scuffs, watermarks, indentations or damage from pets.

(ii) This warranty does not apply if the product is used outdoors, in prolonged direct sunlight or in a humid environment, unless specifically stated otherwise. Any product modification made by the purchaser or other parties, not authorised by Roger&Sons, will void this warranty indefinitely.

(iii) Roger&Sons’ decision on all issues relating to complaints regarding defects, either of workmanship or materials, shall be final and conclusive. Any decision to repair or have part(s) replaced shall be at Roger&Sons’ sole discretion. It is Roger&Sons that determines, at its sole discretion, what constitutes an appropriate replacement.
