"La Maison Noble du Bayle", the first name of Château Guiraud was owned by the Mons de Saint Poly family. In 1766 Pierre Guiraud, a Bordeaux merchant, bought it. In 80 years and three generations, Guiraud has become a prestigious grand cru consecrated in 1855 as the 1st Grand Cru Classé of Sauternes. Château Giraud benefits from an exceptional 128-hectare vineyard, based on soils of sandy gravel and clayey gravel. The vineyard has been organic since 1996 and certified since 2011.

Tasting Notes :
Pretty notes of quince, honeyed orange, white flowers, and apricot-like notes all emerge from the 2019 Château Guiraud, which is medium to full-bodied and has a terrific sense of purity, a focused, elegant texture, and a great finish. Developing more and more complexity with time in the glass, it delivers an incredibly precise, elegant texture that keeps you coming back.
