The grapes selected for Bin 707 are intensely flavoured, with thick skins and small bunches. Like Grange, it is a blend from our best regions… a wine crafted to be greater than the sum of the parts. This beautifully balanced and youthful wine exudes elegance and power. Full-bodied, with dark fruit character and layers of vanilla, graphite, and mint. It's opulent and age-worthy, a gem for the cellar.
Tasting Notes :
Colour: Dark red.
Nose: Aromatic cabernet sauvignon varietal fruits laced with classic Bin 707 barrel-ferment and formic markers, sweet oak derived spices. Incredibly complex dark brooding fruits and leather polish.
Palate: Fruits to the fore (blackcurrant) and black olive concentration. A thread of rhubarb /cranberry natural acidity, wrapped around a mesh of silky tannins. A dark chocolate graininess, cedar and a savory disposition contribute to the layering, length and longevity potential of this wine.
