The Clos des Lunes vineyard covers 65 hectares in the hilly terrains of Sauternes. The vines, aged by 35 years on average, are planted on a mosaic of soils, each of which contribute to the signature style of the estate’s wines. While the deep Sauternes gravels impart power, the freshness that characterises the gravelly soils on clay-limestone substrate is combined with the finesse and elegance of the red earths of Barsac.
