The Singleton of Dufftown 25
The Singleton of Dufftown was built during the reign of Queen Victoria. Body - Medium
Palate - Much spicier, slightly hotter. Less stewed fruits and more tropical fruits - lots of apples, pears, passionfruit and even a hint of pineapple.
Finish - Very long
ABV : 43%
Talisker is the oldest Single Malt Scotch Whisky distillery made by the sea on the shores of the Isle of Skye, one of the most remote, rugged, yet beautiful landscapes in Scotland. Few whiskies tell the story of their origin better than Talisker. Its smell and taste instantly connect the drinker with the rugged environment – like a warm welcome from a wild sea. It’s a powerhouse; challenging but adored; once discovered rarely left.
Appearance - Warm Amber
Nose - The aroma is almost Rum-like with notes of roasted yellow plantains, apple cider, and chocolate morsels.
Palate - The flavor profile starts with Highland florals over salted caramels and granola and orange marmalade.
Finish - The finish is lingering with a smoky sweetness and exotic woods.
ABV : 45.8%
Caol Ila 25
The ultimate Islay malt, Caol Ila is considered by experts to be the perfect entry point into the world of peaty malt whiskies and a reference for connoisseurs of Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky the world over.
Nose - Complex nose of smoke, liquorice, vanilla and intense freshly-mown grass,.
Palate - Rich and creamy texture with notes of toffee and caramel (as it seems is the distillery’s signature flavour profile), with leathery notes coming to the fore towards the end.
