DOMAINE ROSSIGNOL TRAPET - GEVREY CHAMBERTIN VIEILLES VIGNES - 2018

An estate that has been run by the same family for several generations, Domaine Rossignol-Trapet is situated in the very heart of Burgundy, Gevery Chambertin, home of the prestigious grape variety Pinot Noir. Only natural methods have been used in the vineyards and during vinification. This can lead to the presence of light deposits in the wine which in no way alter the taste or hinder its ageing potential. Quality has soared since brothers Nicolas and David Rossignol converted the Domaine to biodynamic viticulture. In particular, the wines display significantly more depth and concentration than when they took over from their father in the 1990s.
