This Burgundy wine enthusiast then began training in oenology in Beaune, which enabled him to work for prestigious estates. After ten years in the Burgundy vineyard and a solid experience, Seiichi Saito decides to stand on his own feet and settles in Chorey lès Beaune; the Petit Roy estate was born in 2016. Today Seiichi Saito has a bit more of a hectare of vines on the Petit Roy estate, which he supplements with a little renting and purchase of perfectly selected grapes.

Tasting Notes
This is textbook Aligoté, full of lemon, lilies and honeysuckle. There is beautiful ripeness but still excellent length on the palate and that cool freshness that comes from planting the right grape in the right place. No apparent oak influence.
