PITTYVAICH 29 YEAR OLD SINGLE MALT WHISKY
- Product Weight
- 0 kg
Pittyvaich was one of the youngest distilleries in the Speyside area - or in the whole of Scotland for that matter while it was operating. It was built in 1974 by Arthur Bell & Sons next to the Dufftown distillery and production started in 1975. A ‘ghost’ or closed distillery that worked only 18years, before falling victim to industry consolidation in 1993, Pittyvaich has now vanished. Its dwindling stock is as rarely sighted today as the shy capercaillie found in Scottish pineforests. A very rare high-aged release of only 4,976 bottles available from a closed distillery.

- Finish : Really quite long and defined by that juicy orange vibe
- Overall : A delicious one that changes in the glass and one get all kinds coming through.
ABV : 51.4%
