La Vielle Julienne has been a family owned property since 1905, but the property was born on the northern slope of Chateauneuf-du-Pape in the 17th century. Jean-Paul Daumen is the fifth generation owner and winemaker. He remains a committed student of wine; continuously searching for new ideas and curious to the unknown. He is a true believer in biodynamics and believes in the abandoning of herbicides, fungicides, fertilizers and chemical products in the vineyards. He is also a true believer in minimal unnatural additions in the cellar. All wines are certified biodynamic by Demeter.

Tasting Notes
Spicy, fresh, sweet, ripe red fruits, herbs, thyme, flowers and pepper open the medium-bodied, kirsch packed wine. The soft, inviting palate delivers ripe, red cherries, kirsch and spicy black raspberries from start to finish.
