The Idris Bangle features a glistening halo of gold, accompanied by a sliver of Jet Black enamel that runs all the way around. The bangle is punctuated with bands of diamonds, giving it just the right amount of sparkle.

This bangle is named after Abu Abdullah Muhammad al-Idrisi al-Qurtubi al-Hasani as-Sabti, or simply al-Idrisi. Al-Idrisi was a Moroccan Arab Muslim geographer, cartographer and Egyptologist who for some time lived in Palermo, Sicily at the court of King Roger II. Muhammed al-Idrisi was born in Ceuta then belonging to the Almoravids. He created the Tabula Rogeriana, one of the most advanced medieval world maps.
