    Nature’s Superfoods’ Organic Sweet Raw Cacao Nibs (pronounced ‘Ka-CAW’) are made from organic unroasted cacao beans from the premium variety Criollo (deemed as ‘king of cacao’ for its fine flavor & fragrance), ensuring maximum nutrient retention at every stage.


    The cacao beans are lightly fermented to bring out the cocoa flavor, increase nutrient availability and reduce phytic acid content. Minimally processed and unroasted, raw cacao contains higher amounts of antioxidants, magnesium, iron and potassium than the highly processed, roasted cocoa. In the case of cacao, the less heat applied, the more antioxidants and beneficial bliss nutrients you get from cacao.


    Our Sweet Cacao Nibs are raw cacao nibs coated with sweet yacon syrup –  a wholesome, low-GI prebiotic sweetener that helps in digestion, blood sugar control as well as weight control


    RAW CACAO: Rich in Flavonoids, Polyphenols, Magnesium, Sulfur, Good Fats, Minerals and Vitamins.The high amounts of flavonoid antioxidants and magnesium in cacao have significant benefits for the cardiovascular system, including blood pressure.  Raw Cacao is one of the world’s richest sources of antioxidants as well bliss nutrients that act as a natural mood lifter; such as phenethylamine (PEA, the feel-good neurotransmitter responsible for the feeling of love), tryptophan (mood-enhancer and a commonly deficient amino acid in those who consume a diet of mostly cooked food) and serotonin (a neurotransmitter that acts as an anti-depressant).


    YACON ROOT: Yacon naturally contains 35-50% FOS (fructo-oligosaccharides) which is a prebiotic fiber and a low proportion of simple sugars. Its natural sweetness comes from a high concentration of inulin, a complex sugar that breaks down slowly into fructooligosaccharides (FOS).  In addition to being a good source of prebiotics, Yacon boasts a good amount of minerals such as potassium, calcium, phosphorous and iron, and glyconutrients.
