Why You’ll Want to Add the Breitling x SIA Collaboration to Your Luxury Watch Collection

When one thinks of iconic timepieces, leading Swiss watchmaker Breitling comes to mind. The Breitling Navitimer watch is coined as the “original pilot’s watch” for good reason - aviation professionals, tastemakers and even astronauts have touted the Navitimer as a modern timepiece made with quality and precision.

And this time, Breitling has joined forces with Singapore Airlines and KrisShop to co-design the exclusive Navitimer B01 Chronograph 41 Singapore Airlines Limited Edition and the Navitimer Automatic 38 Singapore Airlines Limited Edition.

Both timepieces are representative of the collaborative efforts between the aviation and chronograph industries. As such, they both feature the distinct Singapore Airlines blue on their watchfaces. The Navitimer B01 Chronograph 41 Singapore Airlines Limited Edition has a sapphire crystal caseback that allows you to appreciate the mesmerising visuals of the Breitling Manufacture Caliber 01 - this watch movement is backed by a five-year warranty and provides approximately 70 hours of power reserve. 

The Navitimer Automatic 38 Singapore Airlines Limited Edition’s caseback, though not see-through, is engraved with the classic Singapore Airlines Batik motif. This model’s cleaner design allows the rose gold indices and hands to shine against the deep blue watch face.

Living up to its name as a groundbreaking style leader in the watch industry, Breitling’s mission to constantly innovate and improve their timepieces has ensured that the Navitimer remains a timeless accessory. Thus, the exclusive editions were co-created with inputs from Singapore Airlines’ Pilots. The casebacks of both watches are also engraved with “one of 100” as there are only 100 pieces of each design available.
